The bio-soil filtration

Process principle

Odor pass through the distributionsystem and then slowly upward through the filter layer of soil that is full of activate microbial, which is broken down into simple nontoxic inorganic in theprocess of extracellular adsorption, biological absorption and biologicaloxidation. Last, it leaves from biological soil filter layer surface by the form ofdiffusion flow.

There are 3 major steps as follows:

(1)Extracellularadsorption: Odor pollution was adsorbed by the filter layer of soil,extracellular polymer substances or extracellular enzyme when it pass throughthe filling floor.

(2)Biologicalabsorption: the exterior malodor pollution adsorbed by bacteria was transportinto intracellular.

(3)Biological oxidation:  Malodor pollution is broken down intoharmless carbon dioxide and water, inorganic salt in microbial metabolismcycle, The filter layer of soil is provided for microorganisms organic salts,minerals and carbon source, which can promote the reproduction ofmicroorganisms.

Scope

Biological filter can not only handle the odor of sewage treatment plant, but also the other various organic and inorganic odor, the capacity ofshock loading is large,which is suitable for situation that odor concentration is nothigh ,such as sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, sanitation (includinggarbage collection, leach ate, transfer station ), light and daily chemicalindustry, printing and dyeing wastewater plant, petrochemical wastewatertreatment plant, hospital wastewater plant, chemical plant, sludge treatmentplant, and especially for strict environmental requirements.
